Everyone should be able to use this site
Bangkok Ladle is a family-run restaurant, and we want the same warmth here online that you get at the counter. We are working to make this website usable for everyone, including people who use screen readers, magnification, keyboard-only navigation, or voice control.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the benchmark most businesses and courts point to. This site is a work in progress: we review it as it grows, and we fix what we find.
What is in place today
Jump straight to the page
A hidden “Skip to main content” link appears when you press Tab, so you can pass the logo and menu links without going through them.
Works with a keyboard
Every link, button, and menu item can be reached and used with the Tab arrow and Enter keys — nothing needs a mouse or a swipe.
Written for screen readers
Photos carry short descriptions, the page is built in the right order with clear headings, and decorative graphics are marked so they are skipped.
Easy to read
Text sits on dark, low-glare backgrounds at a contrast that is easy to read, headings stand out from body copy, and text can be enlarged without anything disappearing.
No surprises
Nothing here autoplays sound or video, and nothing moves on its own in a way that cannot be paused.
Plain wording
Dish names, hours, and the address are written out in normal text so a screen reader or a translation tool can read them accurately.
What is still outside our control
Online ordering happens on Chowbus
When you tap Order Online you leave our site and place the order on Chowbus, a service we do not control. If anything on their pages blocks you, call or email us and we will take your order instead.
The menu changes without warning
Dishes and add-on options are updated by hand, so a page can lag behind what is actually in the kitchen. Call if you need to confirm something before you come in.
The restaurant itself
For questions about accessible seating, getting to the door, or parking at 15333 Sherman Way, call us before your visit and we will do what we can to make it simple.

If any part of this site is hard to use, or you need a dish description, a price, or a menu item in another format, call or email us and tell us what went wrong. We read every note and use it to improve the site.
